The Tabacon Resort Day Pass will connect you with nature the minute you walk in the door of the stunning hot springs and their surrounding gardens. Tabacon Hot Springs is the largest natural thermae of Costa Rica, and it is carbon neutral! These hot springs are, of course, heated by the Arenal Volcano. As you enter in the Tabacon Hot Springs, you will receive a key for your locker, a card to ask for a towel and someone will address you to the changing rooms. All you will need to go from pond to pond is your swimsuit and sandals, after all! The visual impact of Tabacon Hot Springs is unforgettable. It is heaven. It is an earthly tropical and stunning garden crossed by the hot river. A multitude of small waterfalls drops in small hidden pools that are connected by paved trails. A cascading thermal waterfall is a welcome treat, as is the cold river, which adds a nice contrast to the thermal pools ranging in temperature from 72 °F (22 °C) to 105 °F (41 °C).

The temperature of the natural pools is around 39 degrees C (102 degrees F), a fantastic sensation that will welcome anyone willing to enjoy this incredible place. Come early and linger all you want! You can spend the whole day wandering around the tropical gardens, watching the birds of the nearby rainforests, and watching the massive volcano in the back of this paradise. RESTRICTIONS
- Photographs are not allowed in The Tabacon Spa area.

- Personal videos and photography are permitted in the thermal.

- Jumping off, diving in, or using the water slider more than one person at the time is forbidden.

- Pregnant women must ask their doctor about bathing in hot springs.
​
- Those who suffer from hypertension or have endured a heart attack must consult with their doctor before enjoying the thermae.
ADVICES
- To appropriately enjoy the pools, we suggest wearing swimsuits and comfy water shoes, as trails may be slippery.

- Remaining in the thermal pools for more than 15 minutes at a time may cause dehydration, queasiness and fainting, and low blood pressure.
- Please wait at least one hour after dining before going into the hot springs.
​
- It is important to be alert while on the river pools as the flow may suddenly change.
- For security reasons, we do not advise children under 12 to get under the waterfalls.
