Baldi the world's largest hot springs
Located at the base of the Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna, San Carlos, Baldi Hot Springs has mineral thermal pools with excellent views of the volcano. It is the largest hot spring facility in the region and the perfect way to relax after a walk in the Arenal Volcano National Park. Here you will find 25 thermal water pools Nestled amid the vegetation of the humid tropical forest, and fed by crystalline waterfalls, there are 25 thermal water pools that welcome all visitors. The purity of the water will lead you to feel that nothing in therapeutic backwaters, accompanied by the singing of the birds, the sound of the falling water that invite you to rest and relaxation to recover well-being and quality of life. Get some much needed stress relief during your time in Arenal, Costa Rica. Slip into sublime waters of varying temperatures for extended soaking intervals. Often, a cold pool lies adjacent to a warm pool, which allows you to cool down or heat up as you please. In fact, your core temperature will rise after nearly twenty minutes in the hot springs, so it’s advised to spend some time in the colder pools throughout your visit.

- Bring extra clothes, apart from the bathing suit, do not forget towels.
- Sunscreen is always recommended in this beautiful tropical country, especially for entry during daylight hours.
- Transportation to the park is not included, but is available for an additional fee from most hotels located in downtown La Fortuna. We recommend that you arrive on your own using a taxi or Uber.
